An early maturing, widely adapted sweet corn with good flavor and dependability. Stalks average 5' with 1 or 2 ears (6 to 7" long) containing 12 rows of yellow kernels per ear. Ashworth produces beautiful 6 to 7"; golden-yellow ears with 12 rows of large plump kernels. This is a very tasty, excellent, open-pollinated home garden corn. It is also an early maturing variety with good cold-soil emergence and extended harvest.
